Certified Personal Trainer thru ISSA
Tanya has been a personal trainer for 3 years. Her favorite areas to work with are weight lifting and strength training, really helping people to reach their optimum potential. Tanya watched her husband battle with cancer, and really wanted to make sure that she did all that she could to live a healthier life. When she is not at work she enjoys spending time with her Miniature Australian Shepherd Tucker or working out.
I have been active and athletic since I was a child. I played several sports before I fell in love with hockey. I was fortunate enough to be able to continue playing hockey through college. Along the way I found a passion for strength and conditioning, I loved being in the gym and led my teams workouts in high school and college. I graduated with a Sports Management Degree, the business side of sports but I also wanted to be hands on in the fitness industry so I became a certified as a personal trainer. It wasn't long before I realized that being in the gym was just one piece of the puzzle. Breathing, Moving, Eating, Hydrating, Thinking, and Sleeping all play pivotal roles in health and wellbeing of every person.
